Peyton Harvey is a tremendous guard from A.C. Reynolds. She has a picture-perfect jump shot and the ability to knock down multiple three-pointers in any game for the Rockets. Harvey is a talented player who can change a game on offense or on defense. She is willing to pressure the basketball on D and rebounds well from the guard position. In a recent win over Asheville High School, Harvey scored 20 points, tracked down 6 rebounds, passed for 5 assists, and forced 2 steals.

Peyton Harvey is a three level scorer no matter who her competition is. She can set herself up knocking down her shot from beyond the arc, and she knows how to change directions losing her defender to get the open jumper. She will do it all for her teams getting inside for rebounds, and she jumps in front of passes grabbing steals to push the other direction.

Peyton Harvey had a dominant summer with her Lady Royals team scoring on all levels, pushing the tempo, hustling after loose balls, grabbing steals, and the list goes on and on. She is certain to pull up for her jumper stopping quickly from anywhere on the court, and she has a knack for attacking the basket and dropping the perfect bounce pass to her teammates underneath the basket. Her range on her shot is fun to watch, too, and she is certain to create her own offensive fast breaks off steals that she gets.

Peyton Harvey was showing off her ball handling attacking the basket and making the nice dish to her teammates. She had a beautiful pass up the court hitting her teammate in stride with the bounce and basket in transition. Her passes are certainly noteworthy, and she can score herself knocking down shots from deep off the dribble or the pass.

showed off her range shooting the ball from deep. She has a slick crossover losing her defender and opening up the court for her to make the nice pass into her teammates flashing in the paint. She hustles after loose balls, and she makes the cuts in the paint herself finding the openings. She follows shots, too, even getting offensive rebounds at the free throw line and immediately dumping it off to her post players on the block for two points.

Harvey is fresh off of a 2022-23 where she averaged nearly 12 points per contest for the 4A Rockets. She primarily plays at the one as a point guard and does the most she can with the minutes she collects. She also understands the art of attacking the basket and finding lanes to finish with authority at the rim. Defensively, she is a threat to create additional offensive possessions with the steals she gets and those can turn into two-point baskets on the other end of the court. She is one of many rising juniors on the rise throughout North Carolina and one reason why is that she plays with a high basketball IQ.
