It was a rocky start to Precious’ high school career, dealing with injuries the first couple of years. But over the past 12 to 18 months, with some consistency and the ability to just play a lot of minutes, she has really taken off. She had a solid Spring in 2025, but her July was outstanding. She was starting to take her athleticism and pair it nicely with her skill in order to make plays consistently as a more natural looking point guard. This Winter, she took another step, and she helped lead Cathedral, averaging 14.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 3.6 steals per game. She could be a “steal” at this point.

After missing a great deal of time due to injuries, Precious returned this Winter to give Cathedral a boost. This Spring & Summer, she has improved each weekend and is turning into a highly productive point guard prospect. She is strong for her size, quick, fast, and explosive, plus she plays with a motor. She is known primarily as an elite defender, but she has improved her handle, her awareness, and her perimeter jump-shot significantly.

Precious was all over the place yesterday afternoon. She has finally found her rhythm after missing significant time in her career with some injuries, and she is primed to have a big July. She is a talented athlete with nice start/stop ability. She can really sit down and defend the ball, plus she’s an aggressive rebounder for her size. Still, she is showing an improved handle and the ability to change directions in traffic better.
