Godwin came into the season as a player to keep an eye on and she surely didn’t disappoint. There aren’t many players within the class that have the scoring depth she has at the moment With or without the ball it doesn’t matter, Precious is lethal either way. She has range, gets to her ideal spots comfortably plus she finds ways to make plays regardless of the defensive pressure. Godwin is going to start to turn a lot of heads this spring if she hasn’t already started to.

Godwin has been looking extremely comfortable creating for herself recently. In her game vs Hotchkiss, she was a difference maker, scoring in a plethora of ways and demonstrating ideal playmaking qualities. Precious can play with or without the ball, so that makes her even more of a dangerous threat. When she’s on a roll the way she was the other day, it’s not hard to see why Godwin is starting to have a significant influence.

Precious was outstanding in St. Paul’s win over Groton, posting 17 points and 5 steals. She finishes confidently with either hand and has a deep bag of moves in the paint, including a smooth euro step. Her playmaking regularly sets teammates up for easy baskets, and if defenders give her space, she’ll knock down the jumper without hesitation. Defensively, she was relentless, repeatedly picking opponents’ pockets and turning turnovers into points.
