Preslee controlled the game every time she stepped on the floor. She led with energy and confidence, constantly putting herself in position to make plays. Her IQ stood out, making the right decisions and keeping her team organized. She applied pressure on both ends and competed at a high level all weekend. True floor general.

, hit another level as a player in her junior season.
Chapman’s skills as a player only got better. She sharpened her already good driving game and perimeter shooting game, and her defense in general took a big leap. It is visible that Chapman is seeing the game at a different level than most of her peers. She can generate steals by jumping passing lanes, and does well at staying in front of her assignment on defense.
Chapman had many standout defensive games this season, including a contest against Oliver Springs High School, where she logged six steals.

Every time I watch Preslee, I feel like I always say the same thing: “She attacks downhill better than most” and that still remains true! She knows how to get to the rim and she will finish the old-fashioned three point play over and over again! She’s a tough guard to stop. I love her ability to change direction. Chapman competes on every single possession with the same energy that she starts the game with! This kid deserves so much more credit than she gets!

Chapman is the athlete that does whatever it takes any time that she is on the floor. Every time I watch her, I know she is going to give more than 110%. She approaches the game with an attitude that every coach wants from their athletes. She continues to excel in attacking the rim. She can explode and draw hard fouls, finish through the contact, and complete the old fashioned-three point plays. When you talk about a kid that leaves it all on the hardwood, you have to talk about Preslee!

Chapman continues to be a menace on defense! She has active hands and reads passes exceptionally well. I’ve stated before that Preslee is at her best attacking strong downhill and this still remains true. When this one gets past the first defender and gets a head of steam towards the goal, there is no stopping her! She’s a solid ball handler and has a great understanding of the game. I love her work ethic and her commitment to get better! Keep your eyes on this sophomore!

Preslee kept driving and getting to the rim the entire game. Chapman is at her best when she is attacking strong downhill. She is great at finishing the old-fashioned 3 point play! She is extremely physical and plays tough as nails for the entirety of a game! I love the heart that this one plays with!

was really impressive this weekend. I knew her as a shooter, but she was really effective taking defenders off the bounce this weekend. Her basketball IQ is super high, and has a really feel for the game–she knows when to cut, when to screen, when to relocate. These are all things super hard to teach…but some kids just feel it naturally, and Chapman is one of those kids.
