Two weeks to the night, Hartsock lost the final home game of her high school career. It also sent the 2nd ranked Lady Royals to the consolation bracket of Regionals. Meaning they needed five straight wins to reach state. They did that and tonight makes 6 straight.
Hartsock had her customary full stat line of 25 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. Unbelievable quickness and control off the dribble. Got paint touches like other’s breath. Only took 15 field goals to hit 25 points. Which was added by 7-10 shooting from the charity stripe. This is the second straight year the electric guard has put on a show in the quarterfinals. And has led CSS to their second straight semifinals.

After reaching the 3A semifinals last year and finishing the season ranked 2nd in 3A, Hartsock and her teammates find themselves in a surprising situation. Every game from here on out is life or death. As they’ll need five straight wins to make another trip to state. They already have one out of the way, with a 95-25 win this afternoon over Chisholm. And tomorrow will play the winner of KIPP vs Star Spencer with a spot in Area on the line.
The senior will be expected to lead them, as she’s one of the fastest and shiftiest players in Oklahoma. In a strong second quarter last night, she was responsible for all 12 of the Royals’ points. Handing out a couple assists after she drew the defense’s attention on drives. Along with tough and electric finishing at the rim for 7 points. Her combination of handles, quickness and elevation at the rim make her one of the best finishers in Oklahoma. Which will be vital for CCS’s state tournament hopes over the next week.

Hartsock was a star in last year’s Class 3A quarterfinals win over Roland, which was Community Christian’s first ever State Tournament appearance. The senior is another small school guard who is a blur with the ball in her hands. With exceptional finishing ability at the rim thanks to her body control and athleticism. The lefty has added more reliable three point shooting to her game as a senior and is a complete threat as a scorer or creator.
Hartsock has filled the statsheet this year with 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Her production has the Lady Royals undefeated and ranked 2nd in Class 3A. And on a potential collision course with top ranked Washington, who is located just a few miles south of CCS’s Norman based campus.

Another speedy available lead guard, Hartsock has impressed in every viewing by the PGH staff. She’s shown the clutch gene with her 3A State Tournament performances. Equally capable as a scorer (with deep range or slashing to the basket) or as a guard who gets her teammates involved as a creator. Big time transition threat with the way she can push the tempo. Based on how she’s played over the last year, she’s been one of the more undervalued recruits in 2025 and is set for a huge senior campaign.

A lighting quick lefty point guard that can flat out shoot the 3 ball. Fun to watch her play ball as she seems to have fun setting up the defense for the nice assist. Great up tempo point that can slide her way through the defense gaps for a layup. Great vision on reading the defense. A 2025 that should have the opportunity to play at the next level. First mission is to get CCS back to the state tournament.

Plays like she has a turbo button. Impossible to stay in front of her. Communicates great on offense and defense. Has a nice step back three. Three-point shot continuing to improve is going to make her unguardable because you can’t play her tight without getting blown by. Sees the floor very well, layup package is top notch. One of the best players I’ve seen this summer.

The dynamic lead guard enjoyed a strong national campaign with out of state program MoKan. Fittingly for a point guard, quickness and unselfish play standout from Hartsock’s highlights. Good feeds, including no looks and misdirections. Smooth as a scorer, with the ability to finish at the basket or step back and drill triples. Hartsock impressed at the Class 3A State Tournament last March and it appears she has continue to improve since then.

Quick PG that can push the tempo with her speed. Great shooter from the outside keeps the opponent honest when sinking of defense. Explosive guard that will go by the defender getting to the rim. A point guard that will take what the defense gives her. The scoring ability she has to go with great court vision makes her a double double canadine every night

The speedy lead guard was the heart for Community Christian. She plays with fantastic tempo, always looking to push with her head up and great playmaking instincts. While the lefty seems more than happy to share the love with the teammates when setting them up, Hartsock also can fill it up herself. There were some coast to coast scores, where she was simply too fast.
Then there was the way she closed out the third quarter. Hartsock had a nice drive and take, that included a great ballfake that froze a helpside defender and gave her a clear lane to the basket. She followed that up with a huge three pointer that just beat the third quarter buzzer. Her combination of speed and feel for the game, made her often look unstoppable in the huge win for the Royals.

Preslee is a big-time prospect that has begun getting college interest after a really good summer. The most impressive thing for me is her ability to score the ball. She has a skill beyond her years of being able to throw defenders off with her change of pace or her threat of changing pace. Her hesitation game is strong, as some would say. She can shoot it. She is also incredibly fast. When she puts her foot in the ground, defenders are usually caught off guard as she blows by them. When she gives a little head nod and fakes like she’s slowing up, then keeps going… defenders are completely lost. Long story short, Hartsock is a big-time prospect and a really fun player to watch!
