Brown has been a name that the Devils Lake community has known for many years. Presley fits right into DL’s signature full-court press game. She is an exceptional athlete and helps create havoc defensively. These deflections and steals are one of the main ways that the Firebirds score. I think Presley is able to take the next step this season and become more of a scoring threat. Look for big things from the talented forward.

Moves very well, great defender, aggressive ball-player

Presley is a very athletic forward for the Firebirds. She moves extremely well and is a powerful player. Her on-ball defense is really impressive and she plays really hard. I like how she is able to put her head down and get to the rim on the offensive end. She is able to knock down outside shots and isn’t afraid of the big moment. She made a key mid-range jump-shot that put Devils Lake in position to beat Valley City the other night. Presley was voted to the All-Tournament team last season when the Firebirds won the state title and will be critical for her team to have a chance at repeating this season.

Presley is a powerful athlete and also has the ability to defend multiple positions. I really like her as the midline defender in DL’s press. She is able to close gaps and jump the ball handler which leads to plenty of steals for her team. She is terrific defensively in the half court as well; she is able to jump to the ball, close the gap, and keep opponents in front of her. I really appreciate Presley’s ability to play quality defense.
