I have discussed what Schenkenberg brings to the floor for a while. However, I’m eager to see how comfortable she looks against similarly talented players, more so than she’d see at the high school playing for Shell Lake. She has shown she can be a double-double kid every time she steps on the floor, and I’m eager to see her for the first time in person since last AAU season.

Quinn had to be one of the more dominant post players I came across this weekend. Outside of the pure dominance and confidence she has in the low post, her ability to catch whatever pass was sent her way was the thing that stood out the most. She rarely fumbled the catch, and once she secured it, her thought process on what move to make was sharp, but still patient. The awareness and feel around the rim are both high, and when you combine that with her strength and presence, it makes her tough to slow down inside. As the offensive side of her game continues to expand out.. she could continue to be a top tier player in her state.

The Shell Lake forward is from off the beaten path, but has become one of the more intriguing frontcourt prospects in her class. Schenkenberg is a physical player who can assert herself around the basket and was a double-double kid most nights in her sophomore season. I also love the mid-range jumper she added with a release point so high that few defenders will ever contest it.
