Live Period Preview: Underclassmen to Know

There are players from Wisconsin heading all over the nation. The 6'1 wing is a versatile kid who handles the ball at a high level and can play as a creator with the ball in her hands or with her back to the basket, depending on the matchup. Schenkenberg is a physical player who can assert herself around the basket and was a double-double kid most nights in her sophomore season. She's a physical presence in the paint who can defend around the basket. She has the feel to make plays as a help-side defender, and is athletic enough to get from block to block quickly to contest shots at the basket. She has the burst to beat most defenders off the dribble with her first step, and she showed her ability as a three-level scorer. I loved her ability to affect the game on both ends of the floor, and she'll have the opportunity to show that to coaches out in Pennsylvania this coming weekend for the first UAA event of the year.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
