Quinn Vansickle brings a level of poise to the game that separates her from other combo guards. VanSickle not only tallied the scoring column in the playoffs but also distributed the rock well to her teammates. Aside from her concise passes, VanSickle thrives creating open looks for herself off the dribble. Being one of the most dynamic guards in the box state, VanSickle finished her high school career on a high note.

Quinn shined in Valor’s convincing win over top-10 ranked Legend High, leading her team with a standout effort. The talented guard scored 26 points, including an impressive 5-for-7 from beyond the arc. She also contributed eight rebounds, three assists, and four steals, proving her impact goes beyond scoring. Fresh off leading her team to a state championship, Quinn has proven she can carry her squad on both offense and defense. Her high-energy play and unselfishness make her the glue that holds her team together, ensuring Valentine remains the team to beat. Quinn’s ability to read and react to any situation on the court has earned her a reputation as one of the toughest players to guard. She consistently impacts the game with her defensive intensity and offensive efficiency. As she looks to defend her title, Quinn’s leadership and poise position her as a strong contender for the Player of the Year crown.

Quinn is arguably the best three-point shooter in the state, and she’s ready to live up to that title in her final year. She can get her shot off in a variety of ways, whether off the dribble or catching and shooting with a lightning-quick release. Quinn’s range and quickness make it nearly impossible for defenses to contest her effectively. Beyond her shooting, she can drive to the rim or settle into mid-range spots, depending on how the defense plays her.

Leading the pack is Quinn from Hardwood on the Adidas 3SSB, the senior guard has already established herself as one of the best shooters in the state. An act that she carried over into the summer she shot 37.4 % on the circuit. Which made her one of the deadliest shooters around. Her abilty to create her own shot and score in high pressure situations is what sets her apart.

Vansickle came off with a fiery start, knocking down a pair of threes along with a drawn foul, she came off to as effective a start as anyone in this game. Always a threat to flow into the jumper following a ball screen, opponents were often at a loss attempting to contain the guard. Their finals opponent, Regis Jesuit, will need to find a way to take away space on her stepback jumpers, where she converted multiple threes in her Final 4 performance. Alongside her scoring was her passing vision while under duress, creating assists or hockey assists around a dozen times. She even leveraged a few of those openings via a hustle play, scrambling for a loose ball and reacting quickly.

An efficient shotmaker along the perimeter or while attacking the rim, VanSickle remains a dependable scoring option for a lights out group of shotmakers. Knocking down 7 threes in her two playoff games at a 40% clip, this Valor group remains troublesome for opposing perimeter defenders.

Valor Christian #4 versus #29 Poudre

Vansickle’s versatile scoring abilities have helped provide high upside with this group’s offensive punch. A capable perimeter shooter and downhill scorer, she does well reeling out opponents for driving lanes, often drawing fouls around the rim.  Their 18-4 record is in no small part from Vansickle’s offensive creation.
