You would consider Rachel Knepper Rachel Knepper 5'8" | SF Don Bosco | 2028 IA of Don Bosco as an undersized SF or an averaged sized CG, depending who you ask. Knepper hopped onto the scene last Winter for this group and made her mark throughout the season. It’s nice to see that she is building off of that to start her Sophomore Campaign. No matter how you phrase it, Knepper will eventually move to the CG spot or play more as a guard but you can’t knock her for her efforts all of the floor. Don Bosco is always a respectable program to watch compete and so let’s see what they can do once Playoff time come arounds. I’m sure whatever happens, Knepper will have a hand in it.

I’m not sure if Don Bosco knew what they were getting when Rachel Knepper Rachel Knepper 5'8" | SF Don Bosco | 2028 IA came onto the team as a Freshman last Winter but I’m sure that they are happy that it happened! Knepper ended up averaging just over 11 PPG, 6.2 RPG, and 1.6 APG in her efforts throughout the season. These are some noteworthy numbers for someone only in her first year of Varsity ball. She demonstrated throughout the Winter that she was going to consistently put up productive numbers when she was competing and those numbers should only grow with experience moving forward. She will need to work on her turnover numbers as she did average just over 6 per contest but that will come with time. I’m hoping to see Knepper take strides over these next six months. If she has been working in the off-season, who knows what she might bring to the table!

A name that we are just getting familiar with out of the 2028 Class is 5’8 SF – Rachel Knepper Rachel Knepper 5'8" | SF Don Bosco | 2028 IA of Don Bosco High School. Knepper is an undersized SF, that is going to turn into a CG over her career from the looks of it. This is someone that isn’t the tallest but she has decent size, she is willing to score at all three offensive levels, she is a willing rebounder on both sides, and she isn’t afraid to do the dirty work in the middle for her squad. Knepper had a 33 point showing to finish up last week as we gear up for the end of the season. She is currently the second leading scorer in PPG for her team this Winter and following this season, I’m sure she is going to take over that statistic. It’s early on in Knepper’s career but if she sticks with it, there is definitely promise here.
