Black has been a part of the Cardinals’ backcourt rotation through two state tournament runs. This past season she picked up honorable mention recognition from the Central Plains League and for 3A by Sports In Kansas. She has solid handles, is strong to the basket, has the ability to create her own shot and is poised when trapped. In open court situations Black works and finishes at speed. She does need to improve positioning, which would improve her peripheral vision.
