When the final buzzer sounds on the season for Davenport West, Raelyn Lacourse Raelyn Lacourse PG/CG Davenport West | 2026 State IA is going to look back and be proud of the career she put together fighting through adversity. Lacourse, the seasoned Senior PG, is someone that we don’t hear or see much out of with her being located out of the Quad Cities on the East side of the state but she can hoop. She has been playing some really solid ball this Winter to follow up her successful season on the road with her Midpro Academy Program and that’s gotten her some offers to compete at the next level. All in all, Lacourse shines in whatever role you put her in. She has a great feel for the game and she has some solid D3 offers because of it at this time. I’m not sure where she is going to end up at the end of the day but where ever it is, she is going to someone who can see the floor easy on with her adaptability at the PG position. She has proven that this Winter already.

Davenport West got a much needed win against their cross town rival in Davenport North by a final score of 65-53. In this showing, Raelyn Lacourse Raelyn Lacourse PG/CG Davenport West | 2026 State IA PUT on for her team scoring a career and game high of 41 points. She scored this large amount in every way imaginable. She was 14/27 from the floor and 6/13 from behind the three point line. Lacourse has been a player that we have mentioned a few times this past year as someone who will be playing at the college level following her Senior season but for now she is focused on one thing and one thing only: Winning against the competition right in front of her as we move into the month of February.

Raelyn Lacourse Raelyn Lacourse PG/CG Davenport West | 2026 State IA received two college offers over the past week in D3 – Auggie (IL) and D3 – Coe (IA). Lacourse is a PG we will be featuring this Winter as the season goes on because of her selfless playmaking ability as a pass-first PG. Lacourse is equipped with a steady handle, a fundamental shooting stroke, quick feet & active hands on defense, and a smart head on her shoulders overall when it comes to X’s and O’s. I’m not sure where Lacourse will end up but at this point, she has some noteworthy options on the table.

We are going to hear more and more about Raelyn Lacourse Raelyn Lacourse PG/CG Davenport West | 2026 State IA throughout this next eight months at the Varsity level. Lacourse will be Davenport West’s starting PG/SG this upcoming Winter for her Senior season and she will have revenge on her mind. This AAU season Lacourse is playing some noteworthy ball out of Illinois with Midpro Academy. This has led to a handful of offers being passed down for her so that she has a shot at continuing on her basketball career. The most recent offer coming from Eureka College. I’m excited to see what Lacourse can do this Winter. She should be able to show out with respectable numbers each night as long as she comes into each contest motivated.
