She connected on some buckets today just on effort and second chances. Raven is a glue player at times and does what she need to do to be effective on the floor.

Raven keeps things together for a very talented Runnin Rebels squad. She does a bit of everything on the floor at times. She has the ability to create mismatches at times on the floor with her play. Raven had a good spring with the FCA Eagles on the Grassroots Circuit.

This coming weekend she will play in the Prep Girls Triumph Region Finals at the Upward Star Center in Spartanburg.

Edwards is the energy, and she aims to be the hardest working player on the floor. Her length and speed allow her to shoot the passing lane for easy transition baskets. A player that can rip and get to the basket in one dribble. She is not afraid to get up and play defense the whole length of the floor and she is always doing everything full speed. A workhorse that can rebound and score at will.

On the heels of a playoff-worthy season at 5A Byrnes, Edwards followed it up with wearing FCA Eagles 2024 purple for the AAU spring and summer months. Edwards thrives as a transition runner who also comes through as a gifted rebounder. At times she will set herself up near the rim to receive accurate passes close to the basket which results in Edwards converting on a high-percentage shot. Defensively, she plays with a heads-up mentality that enables her to come away with steals, creating extra possessions for her team and has no issues drawing contact to get to the free throw line.
