Even though Williams and her Cathedral Academy team was on the wrong end of a 63-45 decision in the 2A quarterfinals to Laurens Academy, Williams put forth a valiant effort with 22 points. Williams maintains a busy athletic schedule as she also has played volleyball and runs on the cross-country team in addition to her participation in swimming and softball over the years. Even though the contest became more out of reach as time ticked off the clock, Williams continued to compete. Her AAU career has included a stint with Charleston Raptors .
