Jenkins is fundamentally sound as a player. She possesses a high basketball IQ, which is evident in her role as a point guard. Her vocal leadership makes her an ideal court commander, something that coaches appreciate. Jenkins remains poised and patient, never forcing plays that aren’t there. Instead, she waits for defensive mistakes or opportunities to create angles, and then she capitalizes on them. She is also capable of scoring from 3-point range, as demonstrated in several clutch moments last year. Jenkins averaged 10.4 points per game and shot 50% from the field during her last season with Menasha. I look forward to seeing her lead her team this season as an upperclassman.

Good pure shooter from the perimeter, good strong handles and able to run the show from the point. She is able to push the tempo and see the floor, outstanding lead passer and can create for her team. (Feature photo above)

Rayanna Jenkins will be competing with her AAU team out of Wisconsin once again this Spring/Summer season but I expect to see her at 3-4 different tournaments. Last year Jenkins stood out to myself while walking by a random court. She was clearly her teams most coordinated PG on the squad and she was killing her opponent every chance she got. Jenkins game is one that could translate to the collegiate level at the end of her high school career. She was someone that played up on Varsity as a Freshman, showing her worth to her program almost immediately. As her high school career moved forward, she kept showing growth and promise in her play styles. I’m not sure when everyone else is going to realize it but Jenkins could feast on a collegiate court in the right situation. She is fast, displays smart antics, she can shoot it, and she doesn’t settle for bad shots. If you put her in Pick & Roll situations with space, she is VERY tough to stay in front of defensively as she can score it from all three levels or she can dish it off to her Post for an assist. A lot of success on the court comes down to situational basketball and Jenkins has shown that she can do well in most, if not all situations presented.

In a weekend filled with elite point guard play between all age groups, one of the best throughout the whole weekend was

of the Wisconsin Blizzard 2026 Hawley’s team. Jenkins is a shifty and quick handling point guard who can score, distribute, and guard at a high rate. She has a great head on her shoulders and works hard on both ends of the floor. Not to mention that she is usually one of the smaller players on the court but competes with a physicality that is next level. Throughout the weekend she led her team to an overall 4-0 record with a total point differential of 60 points in those 4 games, recording the highest point differential of the entire tournament at the 15U level. Keep an eye on Jenkins. Her interest this spring/summer is going to sky rocket after college coaches see her live in action. She has a lot of promise and a high ceiling when it comes to the game of basketball.

Just as good as she was the first time I saw her. Quick and shifty point guard that no one can stay in front of on defense. Not the tallest player on the floor but maybe the most physical for her size. Unselfish distributor with good nature instincts and an elite handle to top it all off. Displays good poise and emotion throughout intense moments.
