One of the Palmetto State’s premier sharpshooters will be bringing her pinpoint accuracy from behind the arc to the other side of the Savannah River to Augusta University. She has played the last couple years of her high school career at Legacy Early College and averaged 16.8 points, 5.3 rebounds, 3.9 steals and 2.6 assists per contest. Buff becoming a Jaguar reunites her with Quinasia Abercrombie as the two were teammates at Wade Hampton and spearheaded the Generals to a berth in the 4A Upper State championship game in 2022-23. Buff’s stellar play led the 2025-26 Lions to a 15-7 record. 

Buff has been a signature player for the Lions since she transferred some years ago from Wade Hampton where she helped the Generals advance to an Upper State 4A championship game in the 2023-24 season. The star two guard in her senior season concluded her high school career with an exclamation point as she averaged 16.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.1 assists. Buff’s final season playing on the AAU circuit was spent with SC Sixers. As of today, she remains one of the many unsigned seniors across South Carolina and will be a worthwhile addition to a team looking for an effective scoring threat from distance. 

Whether it is in her current stint with Legacy Early College or her previous one with Wade Hampton, Buff has built a profile as one of the more prolific 3-point specialists throughout the Palmetto State. Back in mid-August, Buff secured a pair of southeastern schools – one from LaGrange College in Georgia and another from Johnson & Wales in uptown Charlotte. Buff competed in 18 games last season for a Lions team that concluded the 2024-25 season with a record of 15-8. She already was offered earlier this year by Guilford College as well as last year by Newberry College and Montreat. 

When having a conversation about solid sharpshooters across the Palmetto State, this talented standout at Legacy Early College has to be in that conversation. We at Prep Girls Hoops got a glimpse of Buff recently when she competed with SC Sixers at Run 4 Roses in Louisville and her 3-point shot looked as strong as ever. Her team went 3-1 in Louisville and will be competing in War Games at LakePoint Sports in Georgia. Last year, Buff picked up a pair of collegiate offers from Newberry as well as Montreat. She was a key reason as to why the Lions finished its 2024-25 season with a record of 15-8. 

One would be hard-pressed to find a more accurate sharpshooter across the state than the senior at Legacy Early College. The early part of the afternoon of Roses Friday saw her SC Lady Sixers 2026 National assembling match up against Southern Squad UA Rise 2026 out of West Virginia. Anyone with a scouting report on Buff knows they have to contain her from behind the arc – and they still cannot contain her even when the 3-point attempts are from NCAA or WNBA range. Her 5-foot-9 stature makes her taller than one’s average two guard as well. One can assume a few of the collegiate coaches and scouts on hand were in search of formidable deep threats. Hopefully they had Buff – and SC Lady Sixers – on their teams to scout list.
