Samaria King connected on a long range pull-up jumper early on and made plays all over the court throughout the game. King was aggressive on the defensive end, getting steals and deflections. King approaches defense with a “never say die” attitude and never quits on a play. Down the stretch, she fought the ball and had IQ to throw the ball off of he defender. in the middle of fighting for the ball. King was also a star on the offensive end, knocking down at least three crucial three pointers, including a three in the waning moments to keep the game within reach.

Samaria has a knack and feel for the game that you don’t see too often. She has a great understanding of floor spacing and getting to her spots which frees her up for open shots. She is excellent at running the baseline to spot up from the corner and dishing out the pass to the open teammate if the defender drives hard. She can effectively play either of the guard spots and has the confidence you want to see out of your guards.

If there was ever a time to buy stock in a PG, now is the time. Samara King is a must-see guard who will draw your attention every time she has the ball in her hands. She is tough as nails and is the ultimate competitor. She plays the game as if her life defends on it and has unreal instincts as a basketball player. She not only enjoys playing physical but she appears to embrace the contact when it comes her way. She can be seen battling it out in the paint against opponents twice her size and does a great job battling against the screen. She will attack the lane hard and has absolutely no fear when she gets in the paint. Samaria went 2-2 in her first two shots of the game, showing how confident she is in her jumper. She has a quick release on her shot and she is a very dangerous shooter anywhere on the court. If she has a good look at the basket, she will shoot it without hesitation and see shot the ball at a very high percentage at the showcase. Samaria is just a fiery guard that gets after it on both ends. Winston Salem Christian continues to be a stop that college coaches have to keep on their list.

showed off her range shooting the ball. She was doing a little bit of everything getting inside for rebounds. On defense, she was constantly getting in the way of her opponents jumping into passing lanes, stripping the ball from them as they tried to dribble by her, and being aggressive going after every 50/50 ball.
