Riley did everything that made the players around her look good. She got deflections, battled for tip-ins, pulled down boards, and found teammates cutting through the lane. Her impact wasn’t about dominating the ball or looking for her own shot—it was about making the extra play that kept a possession alive or created an opportunity for someone else.

Where Riley ends up next fall may still be up in the air, but wherever she lands, that program will benefit from the selfless way she plays basketball. She does the work that connects the pieces on the floor, and that type of player can make a lineup better without needing the stat sheet to prove it.

This was one of Riley’s best tournaments of the year and a clear step forward in both her confidence and aggressiveness. She played with much more purpose on both ends of the floor, making her presence felt around the basket as a rim protector while controlling the glass with her length and timing. Offensively, she used that same length to finish efficiently around the rim, showing improved touch and confidence attacking inside. If this level of play continues, Riley’s stock is only going to keep rising.

Greenwood could be a force this coming season. She has length but her wingspan is what sets her apart inside. Greenwood will be on the floor a lot and she will be able to rack up a block or two almost every game. She is a solid rebounder and plays a physical brand of basketball.

New look Copper Hills will feature Greenwood. She not only has some height but her lefty touch around the rim and that mobility is something that her team will need. Greenwood could really show how much she has improved since last season ended.

Greenwood is ready to take center stage this coming season. She has a lot of potential and with a solid work ethic and solid footwork she could give teams problems. Look for her to keep Copper Hills in the conversation.
