Some great talent came together tonight at the Top 50 event, giving us a chance to see what happens when players are taken out of their usual systems and asked to figure things out on the floor. With unfamiliar teammates and different styles of play coming together, it quickly became about who could adjust, who could play team basketball, and who could find ways to stand out without forcing the action. It was also a great opportunity to see which players could blend their games with the talent around them while still showing what makes them different. Here are the players who caught our attention tonight.

Dallas Wings vs. New York Liberty

Golden State vs. Minnesota

Anchoring the post for the Lynx were Lilli and [player_tooltip player_id='1325129' first='Mariah' last='McCain'], and together they created a formidable presence with their size and confidence in the paint. Lilli's timing as a shot blocker stood out, as she rarely needed to make much contact to disrupt a play. She reads the direction of the drive well, gets herself into position, and uses her length to meet the ball at the right moment. Her presence alone made attacking the paint a much tougher option.

Olive has a strong feel for moving within the offense, knowing when to make a cut, where the lane is opening, and how to keep the ball moving once it gets into her hands. She was active on the boards and quick to find the outlet, but she also showed patience in the half-court. On one possession, she found [player_tooltip player_id='1238748' first='Camryn' last='Bell'] in the low post, setting her up for the finish and an and-one. Olive is constantly looking for an open lane, whether it's one she can attack herself or one that creates an opportunity for a teammate. That awareness makes her effective even when she isn't the player finishing the possession.

Riley did everything that made the players around her look good. She got deflections, battled for tip-ins, pulled down boards, and found teammates cutting through the lane. Her impact wasn't about dominating the ball or looking for her own shot—it was about making the extra play that kept a possession alive or created an opportunity for someone else.

Where Riley ends up next fall may still be up in the air, but wherever she lands, that program will benefit from the selfless way she plays basketball. She wasn't intimidated by size, posting up against bigger, stronger players and battling for position without backing down. Keep an eye on Alyvia—she has all the makings of a player who could see her stock rise quickly.

Hoku is an athlete, pure and simple, with the versatility to impact just about every part of the floor. She can knock down the long ball, control the middle of the paint, and switch onto a quick guard without giving up an easy drive. She reads screens well and has the vision to find the skip pass through traffic, opening up opportunities on the opposite side of the floor. Her combination of size, athleticism, and a calm demeanor allows her to play under pressure without looking rushed, making her an incredibly versatile piece on both ends.

Others with flair on the court tonight:

[player_tooltip player_id='997502' first='Munah' last='Doe']

[player_tooltip player_id='1293054' first='Maylee' last='Higley']

[player_tooltip player_id='796478' first='Bella' last='Carroll']
