About Riley
Expert Analysis
Madison Ward | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Riley was able to display great talent on both offensive and defense this past weekend at the Freshman Showcase. However, what was most notable about Riley was her valuable abilities to play as a strong center. At 5’10”, Riley was able to make accurate passes over the top of her defenders, even in the most difficult of situations. By doing so, Riley was able to limit possible turnovers for her team and keep the current rotation in play.

Excellent basketball IQ, she knows exactly where to be to put herself in the right spot. Finishes strong with the rim, can get in position to get past her defender and make a move to finish. Bright future ahead of her! As smooth of a shooter as there was in the gym

At 5’10”, Hall displayed great versatility and activity on both ends of the floor. She showed her ability to knock down shots, run the floor effectively in transition—whether with or without the ball—and attack the rim with confidence. Her size allows her to see over defenders and make sharp passes, adding another layer to her game. Hall’s blend of skill, vision, and versatility will bring a bright spark to the Perry Meridian program.

Riley is another player on Team 1 that made a stand-out appearance at the Freshman Showcase, which can be attributed to her dedicated hustle and willingness to take shots. When constantly moving back-and-forth down the court, players often get easily tired, allowing for more mistakes to be made. However, Riley kept up the hustle with each play, allowing for her to be open for a quick pass from her teammates. Riley showed no issue with taking shots from the field, regardless of where she was. Her indifference to taking difficult shots is a dependable trait, which she will continue to improve upon during her career.
