Smith grabbed my attention immediately because she’s “long and athletic” and I focus a lot on that profile because it’s the BASE. I saw that over and over. I love being repetitive, yet she does as well, and her showing me she could defend inside and outside the paint was one thing, but coming from out of nowhere to rebound or block shots was another.
