Ruby was a factor for her team last season and carried that same energy into the club season. Now that she’s back with her high school team, I’m interested to how she looks and how she helps those around her. Her presence in the paint on defense and importance on the offensive end should make her one of the team’s key pieces throughout the summer.

Her presence can go unnoticed at times but her impact is real. Ruby has a knack for making timely plays in big moments for her team. She does the little things that help keep everything running smoothly.

Ruby has games where she is the go to option for her team offensively and she showed that throughout the tournament. She knocked down shots and drew attention around the rim forcing defenses to account for her. On the other end, she was just as impactful, defending both on the wing and in the post.

Ruby anchors the paint with her activity on both ends—battling for boards and protecting the rim. She’s a reliable finisher with her back to the basket and brings physicality every possession.
