I really enjoyed watching Ryan compete at the Roses. She was excellent on the boards against the NJ Panthers and provided second chance scoring opportunities for her team. She also did a good job drawing contact inside, which led to trips to the charity stripe. I liked her game against Earl Watson Academy as well. She displayed outstanding court-vision and made good passes to put her teammates in position to score but what caught my eye the most was a tough fast break layup, where she went up with her right hand then switched it back to her left all-in-one motion showing off her athleticism and body control.

Burden made the long trip from Kentucky up to the Saginaw Valley Elite Camp, and she performed at a high level. She moves exceptionally well without the ball in her hands, slashing at the right time and getting open for the outside shot. She has good size from the guard position and crashed the offensive boards hard. She had some impressive finishes around the rim.

17U E40 go 3-1. She has excellent size at the guard position and the skill to go along with it. Ryan is a good defender, and a playmaker that can create shots for herself and her teammates. She is also a solid perimeter shooter, and I like how she gets up the floor and makes herself available to score in transition. Ryan had her best game against Michigan Drive, where she finished with 9 points, 4 rebounds, 3 steals.

Burden has a good, strong frame and she showed Saturday that she’s a true 2 way player. Defensively, she was doing a great job of getting herself in the right help positions. She also was reading the offense so well and came up with multiple steals and deflections. Burden showed a ton of offensive strengths. She was making great drives and she finished in a variety of ways – floaters, layups, and jump shots. She even finished through contact and was making really smart decisions.
