It’s safe to say that Rylee Mudderman Rylee Mudderman 5'5" | PG Kee | 2027 IA of Kee High School is one of the top on-ball defenders that the state of Iowa has to offer at this time. Mudderman led the 2027 Class in Iowa in Steals last Winter with 147 on her season. Mudderman’s mixture of knowledge of the game, fast hands, and quick feet make her a nightmare for shaky ball-handlers. She understands where the opponent is going to put the ball while doing certain moves, really demonstrating how well she can pick up opponent’s tendencies in a small amount of time. With Kee’s system and the natural instincts of Mudderman, this is like a match made in heaven. Now hopefully this season they can build on what they have already put in place in year’s past.

I have not had a chance to see Rylee Mudderman Rylee Mudderman 5'5" | PG Kee | 2027 IA during the AAU scene as our tournament paths have never crossed but that doesn’t change the fact that she put up better than average numbers a year ago for her PG position at Kee High School. Mudderman averaged 17 PPG on 37% shooting, 6 RPG, and 3 APG during her team’s 18-6 campaign during the 2023-2024 high school season. That’s pretty impressive for a Freshman to say the least. Mudderman is going to be a staple throughout the state of Iowa all the way up until her graduation at this pace. The reality is that she is already a top player in her conference and by the time she is a Senior, I wouldn’t be surprised if she was THEE top player. Her fast pace, shifty handle, ability to create, and her motor all scream collegiate level athlete in some form/facet. We may still be a few years away from that but it’s definitely something to think about for Mudderman moving forward.

Rylee Mudderman Rylee Mudderman 5'5" | PG Kee | 2027 IA has been a 2027 PG prospect, that put up impressive numbers with her Kee High School program a year ago. Mudderman excels with her natural mixture of hand-eye coordination, smart head on her shoulders, and her ability to adapt to any given situation that may present itself throughout the duration of a ball-game. I have a feeling that she is going to put up note-worthy numbers, her entire high school career for a few reasons. The main one being that Mudderman is already pretty skilled, she should get better with more experience, and the team’s that they will have to matchup against on most nights, won’t really be a problem for her to produce against. We still have three more years until this Class graduates but if Mudderman stays on the path she is currently on, she will finish off things as a top producer not only throughout her 2027 Class, but throughout the entire state of Iowa.
