are going to have to continue to step up. Cornell competes as the PG for this group and she is the one that is looked at to make a play. Whether that be for herself or for someone else on her team. Cornell is a guard that I would consider the scoring first type but she does also seem to pass the rock pretty effortlessly. From watching Cornell in the Fall at our Showcase, to watching her again this Winter and I think that she is definitely someone that could compete at the collegiate level if given the chance. She plays some solid ball and she has a good foundation in place. She just needs to continue to pump up her efficiency overtime and the rest could be history. I’ll be looking for Cornell to put up some nice numbers in their next contest. If she comes mentally prepared, Superior should continue to move forward.

Sadie Cornell of Superior High School is an athlete that we have recently touched on these past few weeks because of her stand-out play at our PGH Fall Showcase. Cornell has a collegiate level talent on the basketball court, that just needs a shot at the next level to make some things happen. On the high school floor, Cornell is a vocal leader, a pass first prospect in all facets of the game, all while being a solid scorer in her own right. For her Superior program, you could even call Cornell a game-changer with what she does for her squad. Last season she was someone that was a top 20 prospect in the state in SPG and I hope I can see more of that over these next six months.

Sadie Cornell was one of the only 2025’s at this event and she did a good job of representing her Class in several different ways. Cornell would be described as a 5’5 PG, that really just does whatever is needed. She is more of a team player and facilitator, than a take over the game type but she does a respectable job of being the best version of herself out on the hardwood. She can create, pass, push tempo, and defend alike sized prospects across from her. She might not kill you in scoring but she can hold her own in that category as well. Looking forward and I’m not sure of what the future holds for Cornell. She is going to be her leader for one more go around this high school season and if she does well, I’m sure she will generate some interest from the next level. If that’s what her aspirations may be.

knocked down about 2 three point buckets per contest last year as a Junior at Superior High School. With who this group is going to return this upcoming season, I would expect that Cornell is going to have the same job this Winter, while also keeping up her other averages that she produced a year ago. I think other than Cornell being a solid three point threat, she can also make a difference on the defensive side of the ball. To averaged 4.5 SPG like she did a year ago, is eye-opening. If she can do that again, she will prove to collegiate recruiters everywhere watching that she could do something at the next level if given a shot. That’s for sure.

is a multi-sport athlete, that thrives on more than just the basketball court. Cornell is an athletic individual, that can be moved around the floor and used in a number of different ways. She is quick enough to get a bucket by blowing past someone in an efficient way or she can score over a smaller prospect near the basket if the opportunity presents itself. I would need to see more of Cornell in person to really be able to dive deep into her play-style but from what I’ve seen, it’s promising. She makes good choices on the floor a majority of the time and she does a fantastic job of communication with the teammates around her. Those two things are usually a recipe for success when it comes to this sport of Basketball so I’m not surprised that she has had a solid high school career up until this point with more to come in the future.

of Superior High School. Cornell is a a 5’5 Guard with quick hands and feet on both sides of the floor. She is someone that has an act for being in the right place at the right time on most occasions, usually leading to a takeaway and layup for someone on her Wildcats team. Throughout this groups first 19 games this season, Cornell is averaging over 5 SPG. That is an eye-opening number in anyway you put it. This stat says a number of things but most importantly, it says she works hard on defense. It says that she doesn’t give up on plays, no matter the situation and that she would do anything for the teammates around her. If you are looking for a Guard that stays dedicated and locked in at a high level, I’d take a look at Cornell. She makes things happen and that has been on full display this season.

should have been ranked in our Top 50 players of this 2025 Class and that is my mistake. I was not familiar enough with Cornell’s game but after receiving more film and really studying it, she can hoop on several different levels. Cornell is a lefty and she is impressive. Offensively, she can score from all three levels but doesn’t seem to settle for bad shots. If it’s not there, she will look to adapt and switch up her attack. Defensively, she has a balanced mixture of quick feet and fast hands. She usually knows what her opponent is going to want to do and because of that, she gets a lot of tips, deflections, and steals. I’m going to make it a priority to see Cornell this upcoming travel season. There are a few college I could name off the top of my head that could definitely use her talents in the near future.
