After missing a substantial amount of time due to injury, Sadie returned to the court at the PGH Expo. She’s back to peak form and having an outstanding senior year for Calvary Baptist. In December, Sadie became the second player in school history to reach 1,000 career points. She dropped 20 points and secured 11 rebounds in the game. Sadie committed to Bob Jones and will add a deadly perimeter threat to their lineup.

She competed hard on every possession and knocked down shots with confidence, reminding everyone of the impact she can have on the game. With her senior season ahead, it will be exciting to watch her continue to excel and see where she decides to take her basketball career at the next level.

Sadie is a sharpshooting guard who can take over games in a hurry if she is left open from beyond the arc: shooting with a quick and balanced release from 3-point distance. Sadie has solid handles and scores tough finishes around the rim. She uses effective footwork to hit shots with either hand around defenders and is a prospect I will enjoy seeing more of this winter with the Kings.

Day was at the Bob Jones University camp. Day definitely showed off her aggressive offensive approach. She didn’t waste dribbles to find looks, but instead worked off the ball and found space. Day’s speed was, with and without the ball, was impressive.

Day was an All-State Honorable Mention and I think she’s just getting started. She works so hard to find open space and to make herself available for a pass. Day has always been fast to the bucket with the ball, but she has been working that jumper and it definitely shows. Her combination of off the ball work and multiple ways to score could mean big problems for her opponents.

Day is a talented guard who aggressively drives to the basket and possesses a variety of finishing moves. She does a great job slashing without the ball in her hands. She has a quick first step and would get past her defender and hit the pull-up jumper. This was my first time seeing Sadie play in person. I’m excited to watch her game continue to grow over the winter.
