Sahara has wasted little time making an impact since arriving in Florida and has quickly established herself as one of the state’s newest names to know in the Class of 2028. Already holding offers from Mercer, Liberty, St. Leo, Tampa, and Charleston Southern, she appears poised to add even more as college coaches continue to learn about her game. A dynamic playmaker, Sahara combines a quick first step with a relentless motor and competitive edge that shows up on both ends of the floor. She handles the ball with confidence, creates separation off the dribble, and can score in bunches from all three levels. With every viewing, she looks more comfortable playing in the United States, and her upside continues to trend upward as an exciting addition to the state and the rankings.

was one of the most polished 2028 guards in the building. Her game is very mature for her age, and by Day Three, college coaches had taken notice. What may have been a secret early in the event was no longer one, as coaches lined the sidelines to watch the talented young guard compete. Katene’s offensive skill set is advanced. She can knock down the three-pointer off the dribble, off the catch, and off the pick and roll. Katene is also efficient in the midrange and creative off the attack. However, her scoring ability is only part of what makes her special. Katene possesses an elite understanding of the game, demonstrating excellent awareness of spacing, timing, and game situations. Her skill, basketball IQ, and competitive nature make her one of the top young guards in the 2028 class.
