led the way inside on both ends for A.A. Gabriel Richard Monday at the SVSU MLK Classic. She had a game high 11 rebounds and was constantly battling inside to pursuit offensive/defensive rebounds. Saige showed a relentless motor and toughness to win battles for the ball and then finished strong put backs in the paint. She put up 13 points and was crucial to her team earning an impressive victory against a tough opponent.

Edmondson was one of the most improved players in the spring portion of grassroots season. Now she’s a key contributer for Gabriel Richard who has very real state title aspirations. All of which makes me want to see Edmondson in the new year. Her improved footwork on both ends make her a very nice 2 way player. I’m very intrigued by her upside.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Edmondson ends up as one of the most improved players in the state through grassroots season. Her offensive and defensive footwork already looks greatly improved. Edmondson looks quicker in the lane, making her even more tenacious around the rim.
