Expert Analysis
Marissa Rimbert | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Williams brings her volleyball athleticism to the basketball court, particularly with her quick reactions, lateral movement, and ability to respond instinctively. Her size makes her a difficult matchup, and she understands how to use her physical advantages on both ends of the floor. Defensively, she establishes herself as a strong interior presence, using her length, positioning, and quick reactions to challenge opponents around the basket.

Williams was sighted over a year ago at Queen of the South, which was a great event because it gave me a chance to see many players I hadn’t or wouldn’t have seen because of the numerous platforms. Standing above “the magic number” and showing a solid skillset was enough to pass the so-called “eye test”; see evaluations here

Williams stands above “the magic number” and has a college-ready body right now, so with that being said, she has unlimited potential because of her skillset and work ethic. She goes after rebounds, she scores around the basket, plus her interior defense was solid.
