About Samireyah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay style as a floor general who controls the pace, sees the floor, and communicates with my teammates. I focus on setting others up for great shots while also creating scoring opportunities for myself when needed. My goal is to make sure everyone is involved and that we play together as one unit.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to lead by example, stay composed under pressure, and always put the team first. I’m vocal on the floor, encouraging and directing my teammates, while also holding myself accountable. I bring confidence, unselfishness, and determination to every game, always looking to make the right play and help us succeed.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

No

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’ve overall developed my leadership skills and my teamwork skills. I’ve learned to talk on the floor and run the floor as the Point Guard i am. My teamwork skills has improved as i set my teammates up for easy shots and talking on the floor with them as well and overall just coming together as a whole team.

What type of college are you looking for?

Colleges that see me for who i am as a whole and not just based on my skills. Also colleges that willing to work and help me get better as a play
