The Class 4A playoff picture was shaken up by the return of Richardson from GRIND Prep to Ada. She instantly makes them a threat. As just about anytime she steps on the court in 4A, she’ll be the best player on the floor. Earlier this month, Ada won the Jones tournament with a “light work” 37 points from Richardson in the title game over Heritage Hall. The future SMU Mustang is lightning quick and should have more 30 pieces in this final month of the season. While trying to push Ada to their first State Tournament appearance since 2017.

The future Lady Mustang was an one woman press break. Constantly pushing the tempo, weaving through defenders, firing accurate passes. Richardson is a special creator and tempo setter, with seemingly no wasted motions as the speedy guard is always in attack mode. Routinely set up teammates with high percentage looks. Was lethal out of ball screens, either passing or getting floaters or pull ups to fall. The special talent is closing out her high school career strong before a career in the ACC with SMU.

Sania could be the best scoring point guard int he state. Reached 1,000 points half way through her sophomore season. This season she reached the 2.000 point mark in February. Game Watched: vs FBC Academy, January 7th
The dynamic lead guard can run the show, but also fill it up with a wide array of scoring abilities. She has a variety of finishing moves at the rin and pin pointing shooting from distance. She’s simply too fast to be stopped in the fullcourt and can shift gears on drives in the halfcourt as well. Speaking of shifting gears, Richardson had some nasty off the dribble pull up makes too. She’s an outstanding prospect that even when on watching on “film” her electric play jumps off the screen.

is the closest of the athletes in this “Elite Eight” to being ready to take a college basketball team on her back and lead it to big things. As time goes on, college coaches seem to be figuring out that it doesn’t matter how tall that back is if it carries you to championships. Sania’s vision is unmatched in the top-8 players and her handles have been known to make highlight video material of even the best defenders. I’ve told coaches and been told by coaches that if not for her height, Sania would have been recruited over almost everyone in this class. I can only hope that the continued slights, even by myself in this capacity, help to drive Sania to do the greatest things possible in every realm where she endeavors.

Explosive guard with loads of ability and talent. Off the dribble she is twitching, shifty, and controlled. She can slice and dice through traffic and finish in the paint through contact and over shot blockers. She has a pure jump shot from deep with range – shoots the ball with confidence. One of the top pound for pound point guards in the nation. She sees the floor really well and can make her teammates better. A competitor that leaves it out on the floor.

Sania is a quick point guard with high basketball IQ. She plays with her head up, surveys the floor, makes plays with perfect timing, and has elite passing ability. She can shoot the ball off the catch very well but is extremely effective creating off the dribble. She knows how to keep you on your toes guessing what she will do next and when you relax – zoom – she is gone. She attacks the gaps with explosiveness and she can create contact and finish at the basket at a high-level. Sania is a great 3-point shooter and does a good job creating space to get her shot off. I like her game because she is all business and gets the job done on the court – she wastes no time. Sania was recognized and ranked the 24th player in the Class of 2025 nationally by ESPN W. She hold several offers by top college programs and she is a player that I will have my eye on this year at Ada High School.
