Carr was another player in the Wesleyan Christian vs Galloway game that stood out with her play. She, Blythe, and Brooke Parker Brooke Parker 5'11" | SG Wesleyan Christian Academy | 2027 NC all took turns bringing the ball up and running the offense while also getting their shot attempts and buckets when their number was called. Carr has deep range and very quick release which allowed her to get her shot off when defenders helped off of her on penetration and when she was coming off screens. She was very quick and elusive when she was handling the ball as well as being efficient and responsible. She let the game come to her and did not force anything that wasn’t there on the offensive end (passes or shots). However, she was not a ball stopper and was decisive in her decision making. If the play wasn’t there immediately, Carr whipped the ball to a teammate a cut within 2-3 seconds. She is a player college coaches should have on their radars.

Sara Kate has good ball handling skills and an excellent pull up jumper that makes her very difficult to guard. She can extend the floor with her three-point shooting and knock down shots all over the court. Carr is a tough nosed defender and can rebound the ball as well.

Sara Kate Carr Sara Kate Carr 5'9" | PG Wesleyan Christian | 2027 State NC started off the scoring in the game using her tough ball handling to get into position, pull up, and hit the midrange jumper.  She did well getting into position on defense drawing a charge and gaining the possession again for her team.  Her pull up was tough and very difficult to defend.  She showed her ability to block some shots in the paint as well

Smooth as silk shooter with high release and deep range. Nice pull up jumper where she elevates up over defenders. Love to watch this kid play. She has a high motor on both ends of the court. Fundamental and skilled are a great combination for Sara Kate.

Sara Kate Carr Sara Kate Carr 5'9" | PG Wesleyan Christian | 2027 State NC shows off her athleticism every time she is on the court whether she’s outrunning her opponents, making her shot from deep, or showing quick lateral movements to prevent her opponents from finding an open lane.  Her ability to drive and pull up for a floater is fun to watch making it count.  She has a strong box out as well. 

Sara Kate Carr Sara Kate Carr 5'9" | PG Wesleyan Christian | 2027 State NC showed off her range shooting the ball from around the perimeter.  She plays with a high motor the entire time she’s on the court moving around with intent looking for the gaps getting the pass and putting up her shot.  Her defense is tough, too, being able to keep up with anyone preventing them from getting by her to score some points.

Sara Kate Carr Sara Kate Carr 5'9" | PG Wesleyan Christian | 2027 State NC is a major reason Wesleyan Christian was in the 4A State Championship game, and she had an exceptional performance that game, too.  She rises to the challenge hitting big shots when it matters around the perimeter, and she is constantly moving on offense finding the openings and ways to contribute to her team.  She’s quick with the ball exploding up the court making it count at the rim.

Sara Kate Carr Sara Kate Carr 5'9" | PG Wesleyan Christian | 2027 State NC came out strong to start the game scoring the first four points for her team filling the open lane for the fast break and pulling up for the midrange jumper.  She has a nice step back move that she uses to create her own space.  She can definitely knock it down from deep, too, hitting some big three pointers cutting into the lead in the second half.

Carr is a bouncy athlete who gives all she has on the court. She runs hard and scores in stride in transition. She also defends with effort. Carr can put pressure on the basketball and make life difficult for the opposition. She can also help in the post and force steals on defense. From the perimeter, Carr reads what the defense is giving her. She can shoot, she will drive, and she is a team player who is a willing passer. Carr is an unselfish player who does what it takes to win for High Point Christian.
