started off the scoring in the game using her tough ball handling to get into position, pull up, and hit the midrange jumper. She did well getting into position on defense drawing a charge and gaining the possession again for her team. Her pull up was tough and very difficult to defend. She showed her ability to block some shots in the paint as well

Smooth as silk shooter with high release and deep range. Nice pull up jumper where she elevates up over defenders. Love to watch this kid play. She has a high motor on both ends of the court. Fundamental and skilled are a great combination for Sara Kate.

shows off her athleticism every time she is on the court whether she’s outrunning her opponents, making her shot from deep, or showing quick lateral movements to prevent her opponents from finding an open lane. Her ability to drive and pull up for a floater is fun to watch making it count. She has a strong box out as well.

She plays with a high motor the entire time she’s on the court moving around with intent looking for the gaps getting the pass and putting up her shot. Her defense is tough, too, being able to keep up with anyone preventing them from getting by her to score some points.

She rises to the challenge hitting big shots when it matters around the perimeter, and she is constantly moving on offense finding the openings and ways to contribute to her team. She’s quick with the ball exploding up the court making it count at the rim.

came out strong to start the game scoring the first four points for her team filling the open lane for the fast break and pulling up for the midrange jumper. She has a nice step back move that she uses to create her own space. She can definitely knock it down from deep, too, hitting some big three pointers cutting into the lead in the second half.

Carr is a bouncy athlete who gives all she has on the court. She runs hard and scores in stride in transition. She also defends with effort. Carr can put pressure on the basketball and make life difficult for the opposition. She can also help in the post and force steals on defense. From the perimeter, Carr reads what the defense is giving her. She can shoot, she will drive, and she is a team player who is a willing passer. Carr is an unselfish player who does what it takes to win for High Point Christian.

Sara Kate Carr had a nice take to the hoop driving baseline and scoring two points using ball fakes to create some space. She was making strong cuts to the basket being ready for the pass and bucket. She battled through contact, and she was sure to make it count from the free throw line.

Sara Kate Carr is an athletic and dynamic guard who can play on all levels of the court on both ends. She can block shots as she hustles back on defense preventing fast breaks, and she can get up high on her shot elevating over her opponents to score some points. She jumps the passing lanes grabbing steals and pushes them the other direction, and she has a nice shot from around the arc. She will certainly be able to handle more and more responsibilities in her high school career.
