Utley is crafty. She uses her body well to get her defender off the ground and then knocks down the jump shot. She can shoot the three with ease and has deep range. When Utley’s defender closed out tight, she used a shot fake to get her teammate off balance. Then, she attacks the rim to score. Utley is a talented player who can score inside or out.

Sarah Utley is another guard who is a threat on both ends of the court. She can create her own offense taking the ball coast to coast after grabbing a steal. In half court offensive sets, she can set herself up for some nice jump shots or take it all the way to the hoop finishing at the rim. She does a nice job sliding into the gaps on defense like making effective backdoor cuts for some points.
