raised her stock in a big way at the Inside Exposure Tournament, putting together a performance that left no doubt about her upside. Her ball-handling ability has always been impressive and stood out even in the State Championship game last season. In addition to the tight handles, her court vision immediately stood out, making her a dangerous prospect any time she has the ball in her hands. Ammons can slice a defense apart with her passing, her shooting, and her ability to get to the rim. One play that defined her skill set came on the baseline—Ammons hit a smooth between-the-legs crossover, froze the defender, and finished at the rim with a sweet left-handed touch. It was a high level skill-set on display. The point guard also showcased a nice perimeter game, knocking down shots with rhythm and balance and that smooth “left-hand” delivery. Defensively, Ammons appled strong on-ball pressure, using her quickness to disrupt and stay in front of opposing guards. Ammons is the complete package, and when paired with

displayed excellent floor leadership at the Lake Highland Prep Preseason Classic. With a great handle and strong composure, she did an outstanding job controlling the tempo and setting up her team’s offense each possession. Ammons embodied the role of a true point guard, balancing smart playmaking with the ability to create scoring opportunities when needed. Her vision, poise, and leadership make her a steady and reliable presence on the court this season.

Sariah returns to New Smyrna Beach after winning a state championship last season instead of making the move back to Georgia. She was second on the team in assists and fourth in scoring which is a testament to her playmaking ability. As a senior, she’ll be looked to for leadership on a roster that lost two key pieces but still has plenty of talent and reloaded a bit. As a shifty and crafty lefty, Sariah thrives at getting to the rim and setting the tone defensively with her relentless motor and competitiveness.

Sariah has what every team looks for in a point guard – tight handles, court vision, and unselfish play. That’s exactly why she has climbed our rankings and has a chance to rise even more with her stepping into a bigger role for her team. Defensively, she uses her quickness to get into passing lanes and make the offense uncomfortable. She has received an offer from Ft Lauderdale (NCCAA) recently.

Sariah showed a lot of promise this weekend as one of the shiftiest guards in the building. The lefty plays with control and poise, but she also has the speed and craftiness to blow by you. Her handles and ability to change direction make her one of the best downhill facilitators in the state. She also plays hard on the defensive end and will have to continue playing a big role for this team moving forward.
