About Savannah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is controlled, quick, and consistent. Defensively, I focus on containing and making my opponent uncomfortable. Offensively, I focus on making the right play as I am capable of scoring at all three levels on offense.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to trust the process, trust myself, trust my teammates, and give it my all.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am in National Honors Society and Orchestra for which I have received a varsity letter and most improved award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have developed the qualities of a leader as a section leader in my orchestra and a captain on my school’s basketball team. Both of these activities have also taught me the skills to work with a team. In addition, I have done many hours of community service through National Honors Society.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced many challenges in my past three years of high school. My biggest challenge that I overcame in my first two years of high school was my lack of self-confidence in my offensive game, especially dribbling and scoring. In addition, stepping up to be a leader was a challenge that I overcame as well.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a 4-year college that is suburban or urban where I can play basketball and earn a degree in the medical field.
