Don’t be surprised if Dahl replaces Barhoum’s shooting production next season. She took a while to heat up from deep during her first game of the day, but she just kept launching spot-up threes with her quick windup and release at the slightest hint of space. When she did catch fire, it was easy to see why she has the green light — Dahl took over the second game with a flurry of shots, including the game-winner to defeat Stayton’s team. Aside from her soft touch and college range, she has the mark of a truly elite shooter: the strength and conditioning to get her shot off immediately after sprinting around the court. Her height, as well as the elevation she gets on her jump, also makes her hard to block.

is a 5’11” Junior at Clackamas High School. She has an impressive wingspan and is a tremendous rebounder. She’s also an outstanding shooter and held the 3 point record at her former school. This incoming transfer is going to make an amazing addition to her new Clackamas team.
This past weekend Savannah played well and shined on the court amongst her peers. She voiced that this event was awesome and it’s always fun to get out in the community and hoop. Savannah is a great team player too and does a good job making sure her teammates get great opportunities on the court. It will be exciting to see how she does this upcoming season with her new program.

is long and springy and can score from all three levels. The 5-foot-11 guard drains the catch-and-shoot three, knocks down the smooth stop and pop middy, and slashes to the rim. Dahl holds the Vikings’ program record for most three-pointers made (92) and most points (451) in a single season. She averaged 18 points (shooting 42% from the field and 38% from three), 5 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and 1 block per game and was named to the Pacific Conference First Team in her sophomore season. Dahl has a nice turnaround baby hook at the edge of the paint. She can get to her spot, rise above her defender, and finish with a soft touch. Dahl has great handles and vision. She pushes the pace and leads the runner with the pass. She makes the fundamental bounce pass inside in the half-court set. Dahl’s long wingspan is disruptive on defense. She deflects the pass inside and makes the block as the help side defender. Dahl rose to No. 6 in the Prep Girls Hoops Oregon class of 2027 rankings.

clocks in as the #7 player in the 2027 rankings. Dahl has a beautiful shot that is deadly for opposing teams once she gets going. She also plays with a maturity and poise that is impressive for her age and this along with her high basketball IQ will allow her to continue to get better over her next three years at Forest Grove.

is another 2027 who is playing well beyond her years. Being a 5’11 shooting guard who can shoot the ball better than just about anyone makes Dahl almost like a cheat code at the high school level. Some of her top performances this season include four made 3-pointers en route to 14 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals at Hillsboro; 18 points on 7 for 10 shooting from the floor to go along with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in a win over Westview; and 15 points — including three 3’s — 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals in their most recent game, a league win over Newberg. Clearly, she is not a one-trick pony, and Dahl finds ways to make contributions all over the floor, from using her length on the defensive end to finding her open teammates. Dahl is a huge reason why Forest Grove is in much better shape than they were a season ago, and she will continue to impress over the course of the next four years.

has played a huge role in this improved level of play for the Vikings. As a 5’11 shooting guard who can score from anywhere on the floor, Dahl is a tough matchup for just about anyone. In a few of their most recent games, Dahl had 14 points — including four 3-pointers — 4 rebounds, 1 assist, and 3 steals against Hillsboro, and 15 points, 2 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 steals in the conference win over Newberg. Her beautiful shot is one of the best that I have watched in person. When watching Dahl, perhaps the most impressive aspects of her game are the confidence and poise with which she plays, which made me shocked when I found out that she is only a freshman. Forest Grove will undoubtedly be a major threat in the postseason, and Dahl will likely be making them a contender for years to come.
