Jarvis is one of my favorite “sleeper” prospects in the state in the 25 class and I think her best basketball is all ahead of her. She holds some in state offers from the likes of Pikeville and Midway but Savannah is the type of player who could blossom if she went to Junior College then made the jump to a D1 school. I think her potential is that high.

Jarvis is a big and skilled wing forward who is a D1 talent when her motor is running. She plays with a mean streak and often plays her best when she’s got a chip on her shoulder.

She was arguably BMaze’s best player on the weekend until she got hurt. She still managed to battle through injuries and show off her toughness, but she was definitely hampered. Averaged 14 points and 8 rebounds, and showed off her versatility as a skilled inside/out scorer.

A Kentucky kid that I was able to get my eyes on for the first time. Gosh…stands 6’1 but plays 6’4. No one was able to keep her off the glass this weekend, and her grittiness pursuing offensive rebounds is off the charts. She has a developing offensive game, but showed that when she catches deep, she incredibly efficient at the rim. Had to have a double-double in the games I saw. Has all the physical gifts to be a special player.

Most college coaches are willing to bet on potential and upside and Savannah has that in spades. Jarvis is 6’0 and athletic with the ability to play on or off the ball. She’s willing and able to post up smaller players and can knock down open shots from range. With her intangibles, Savannah will draw D1 scholarship interest.
