About Scarlett

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a versatile player that can be a strong defender and also hustles to the other end. I can be strong in the paint and go after every rebound. i can also shoot outside shots and can create plays with strong passes and screens.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I try to always keep a strong positive mindset going into games and throughout plays. I keep short term memory and move on quickly to the next play if a mistake was made. i learn from my mistakes very easily.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Softball, academic growth award, Honors award.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I can become a stronger leader by having great coaches and helping my teammates. I’ve done many hours of community service and and a good learner in school.

Capers has solid feel around the painted area and is very strong attacking the glass on both ends of the floor. She does a really nice job of seeing cutting lanes then making hard cuts to create open opportunities for herself or open things up for other people. Her strong feel for the game and developing skill level give her the potential to be a solid impact player as her career progresses.
