Lancaster was named the NEPSGBA Class AA Defensive Player of the Year. The defensive presence is truly hard to gauge due to how imposing she is. Of course, the multiple block games and dominant rebounding abilities stand out, but her constant activity and competitive flair have a massive impact. Multi-level scoring threat. Her length caused all types of problems today. She showed off versatility in her scoring, taking smaller defenders off the dribble and banging with the bigs down low. Rainbow 3’s to show off range.

Serenity Lancaster Serenity Lancaster 6'1" | PF New Hampton | 2026 State New E (2026) | 6’1 PF |
An outstanding forward talent that can thrive from many areas on the floor with ease. Her size, determination, timely reactionary skills and sheer ability to apply pressure to players on both sides of the ball make her a significant prospect to know. Lancaster also has a beautiful looking shot. She doesn’t get much lift, but her release point is high and she shoots the ball along its threads. This causes for a smooth follow-through that allows for great rotation. When combining an extreme competitiveness to all these earlier mentioned attributes, it’s no wonder she’s ranked within the top 10. Her impact on the game is immense.

Serenity Lancaster Serenity Lancaster 6'1" | PF New Hampton | 2026 State New E (2026) | 6’1 Forward | CBC
Standing at 6ft+ with tons of athleticism, Lancaster stood out immediately. The on-court swag plus the passion she plays with is distinctive. She’s an exceptional playing her natural position, but she has the ability to slide around to play others too. It was quite clear that her skillset is something college coaches desire to have in their program. Serenity was able to affect the game in many ways, even without the ball in her hand. She fights for position early and gives teammates great angles for the entry pass. That competitive energy doesn’t dissipate through the course of the game either; Lancaster gives maximum energy until the whistle blows. The versatile forward’s activeness on both sides is absolutely indispensable.

Serenity Lancaster Serenity Lancaster 6'1" | PF New Hampton | 2026 State New E (2026) | 6’1 Foward | New Hampton
Serenity left her imprint in this game. Her overall impact came from her dominance within the lane lines. She had a commanding influence within the paint, especially with a statement block that sent the ball back in the 3rd quarter. The game was tied and Lancaster stepped up to a lane driver and absolutely rejected a shot with 2 hands. This paint protection set a precedence throughout the rest of this matchup. Offensively, Lancaster was determined to get quality looks at the rim and even got to the line too. The 6’1 forward was a significant performer.

Serenity is the exemplification of what an x-factor is. The 6’1 agile forward is a high stock riser because of her ability to play stellar defense, clean the glass, being a short-corner option, reliable post scorer and even start the break herself. Lancaster sports a nice touch around the rim, regardless of the defense hanging over her. However, what’s impressive is her defensive capabilities which are sheerly stunning. There aren’t too many players in NEPSAC that bring that level of a defensive influence. Lancaster is still raw in some areas of her shooting, but her energy on both sides of the floor, plus her athleticism will help carry her over most of her competition. She’ll be able to give her team extra possessions and aid in dependable scoring in crucial moments. New Hampton has an absolute workhorse that will elevate the team’s play on a daily basis.
