is one of Riverdale Ridge’s brightest lights in the clutch, averaging just under 13 PPG and 4.1 APG in the regular season while shooting a deadly 42% from the field. Vigil finds innovative ways to distribute the basketball while circulating ball movement. At 5’4, Vigil’s acceleration allows her to have her way against opposing defenders, zooming towards the paint and making the right decisions on the fly. Vigil has proven herself to be a threat at all times, especially recently, chalking up 25 points in her regular-season face-off against Mountain Range. Expect a similar narrative from her against Broomfield.

First time watching Shay play and what stood out besides her game was how she just kept coming at her opponent every possession Understandable why she is ranked highly at the point guard with the strong skill set she plays with. Friday night it was her 3 point shooting and aggressive downhill play that caught my attention as well as several coaches.
