Siena is an elite 2-way wing with size, skill, and IQ. She will thrive in the up-and-down atmosphere of the EYBL. Her impact off-the-ball is special. Elite cutter who can space the floor from behind the arc. When she takes her time and gets her feet set, she is virtually automatic if left open. Siena has ideal length and covers ground fairly quickly in the full-court press. She understands how to cut off the passing lane. Her 3&D ability is a gamechanger. She doesn’t need the ball much to make her presence known on the offensive end. Siena will be one of the main headlines at EYBL Session 1 in Phoenix, AZ next month.

Sienna is the ultimate glue player for Notre Dame, impacting the game in ways that both show up in the box score and go unnoticed. She’s a reliable perimeter shooter with a smooth release, consistently navigating screens and rising over contests to knock down shots. Sienna has an excellent feel for spacing, instinctively knowing when to cut and how to create separation from defenders. Her intangibles stand out just as much as her skill set—she provides leadership and direction on both ends, organizing her teammates offensively and turning simple actions into scoring opportunities. Defensively, she communicates constantly, directing teammates and putting herself in the right position to help. Her value will be immeasurable to Notre Dame throughout the season.

Siena is a swiss army knife that does it all on the floor. Uses her size well to defend, rebound and get out in transition. Comfortable putting the ball on the floor to attack + finishes well through contact. Developing 3 level scorer that consistently makes good decisions with the basketball. Threat from behind the arc if left alone. High energy/effort defender; has size and length to guard multiple positions at the next level.

I’ve been pretty impressed with the small amount of game play that I’ve seen out of Siena Ostick of Norte Dame High School (CA). Ostick is in that weird situation of being 6’0 but she displays a lot of guard like tendencies. Her natural length and smart mindset help her produce on both sides of the ball when she is on the floor and that’s noticeable. If you look at Ostick’s profile on the site, she is listed as a SG/SF and that’s because of this mixture we talked about above. This weekend Ostick will be with her Swish 15U EYBL team in Arizona. If everyone comes to play, I imagine this group is going to have a fun few days in the dessert but we will have to wait and see.
