One of the kids who’s developed the most in the past year is Sophia Remiker. She split time on varsity and JV in her first season at Ashwaubenon, but she caught some people’s attention this past summer, including myself. Not many 6’0 wings are as versatile as Remiker. She has a perimeter game, the physicality to play around the basket, and the ability to create off the dribble. Remiker has plenty of upside to work with over the next few years.

If memory serves correctly, I believe this is Remiker’s first AAU season. Regardless, Remiker has shown potential when I’ve seen her play, and she’s been steadily improving all AAU season and played well in her team’s title game at Summer Jam. She’s a 6’0 wing with plenty of room to grow and has a guard’s motor skills. She can handle the ball without looking at every dribble and keeps improving her perimeter game. The Ashwaubenon native has shown some flashes of brilliance this Spring/Summer.
