Sophia has a smooth pull-up jumper from the mid-range and does a good job getting to her spots before rising into her shot. She becomes especially difficult to stop when attacking the basket. Once Sophia lowers her shoulder and gets downhill, she uses her strength extremely well to create space and power her way through defenders for finishes around the rim.

A natural offensive mismatch that can easily cause friction. Webb could use her size and speed to affect the defensive end a bit more, but that may just come with more opportunities that’ll naturally come in her senior season. Sophia has been steadily bringing in the school offers up to this point in the year, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see her keep the buzz around her name going with impactful play.

Sophia was offered by CCSU about a week ago. Webb is gearing up for a major season where even more schools can come ringing for her.

Webb should be on most senior watchlists. She’s a defensive headache for many forwards who can serve as a true x-factor in any given game. Sophia was a summer stock riser, so it’s not farfetched to assume she’ll carry over the momentum into the season.

Sophia has recently received several offers, including Division II Daemen University and Division I programs Queens University of Charlotte and the University of New Hampshire. Her strong play is being rewarded after years of hard work, and every time I have seen her play, she has made noticeable improvements. Sophia’s ability to get to the rim and score in the paint and mid-range should translate well to the next level.

Webb is well-equipped for any style of play. Her size mobility plus the ability to serve as a tertiary ballhandler make her a tough cover for the average forward. Usually, Sophia has some sort of advantage in matchups and she uses her opportunities to try to exploit that. Recently Webb as garnered attention from some schools as well, so her stock is certainly going up.

Sophia has a nice fadeaway jumper from the mid-range and is a reliable spot-up shooter from the corners. She hustles hard for loose balls and uses her size well as a taller guard, allowing her to see over the defense and make good reads. Her size also makes her a difficult matchup for opposing guards.

She’s a ’27 that’s making impressive strides, especially in recent play. Daemen university just offered Webb.

Sophia is a versatile talent for the MA Huskies. She is strong at getting to the basket, rebounding, and defending. On offense she is a threat looking to score, attack and/or run in transition. On defense she limits opponents to one possession by securing boards and is able to switch and play multiple positions.
