Wichman is another multi-sport prospect I hope to see this winter. She had a breakout season on the volleyball court this fall for the Wildcats. She was a key hitter on Hayden’s Class 4A State Runner-Up Volleyball squad. She was also named an Honorable Mention player on the Class 4A KVA All-State Team. I have seen how her reach and quickness help her on the volleyball court, and now I want to witness how those skills translate on the basketball court. I don’t recall seeing her play round ball last season, and could not find last year’s stats for Hayden online. If I were forced to prognosticate, she has the skills to average eight-plus rebounds and three steals per game. She is ranked No. 25 overall in the Kansas Class of 2028.

Hayden is a team I have watched multiple times this season, and Wichman is playing a larger role in the team’s success than she did last year. She is third on the team in kills with 105 through 45 sets played. She has also recorded 55 digs and 15 blocks for the Wildcats. She can play power or small forward for Hayden’s basketball squad. Hayden graduated one of their paint monsters from last season, so Wichman could see more playing time this winer as well.
