Taelor recently committed to Division I Wagner College. Throughout the AAU season, she showed she can hang with some of the best competition around during the live periods she competed in. Taelor moves her feet well defensively and can pressure the ball for the entire length of the floor. She also uses her athleticism well around the basket, where she is a crafty and effective finisher.

Arnold further cemented that she has the heart of a lion. Her explosiveness, peskiness as a defender and overall effort flying around on both sides was consistently moving the needle.

Taelor is extremely quick with the ball in her hands but never lets her speed force her into rushed decisions. She plays with a high IQ and consistently makes smart reads on both ends of the floor. After strong offensive possessions, she gets right back on defense and competes as a tenacious defender. Taelor only needs one step to get past her defender, and once she gets into the paint, she makes good decisions about whether to finish herself or kick the ball out to an open teammate.

The fearless mentality, constant activity, nose for the ball plus her superior quickness will fare well in the upbeat environment this spring and summer. More coaches will fall in love with the heart she has, that just can’t be taught.

Arnold certainly embodies the mantra, “heart over height”. The energy and confidence she plays with is so infectious. In this championship matchup Taelor showed up as one of the better players on the entire floor. She was a dependable option from her spots and ended up scoring 11 pts. What a successful year for the junior transfer.

Arnold’s hustle and pure drive alone will make her one of the players to focus on in this game. Her fiery competitiveness will pose a serious threat despite her smaller stature. Worcester should gameplan for Taelor’s timey plays on both ends of the floor, they could really be the difference in this one.

Taelor has been making a difference all season long, but watching her in her recent matchup vs Worcester, she was one of the best players on the entire floor. Her 17 pts, 3 ast, 8 reb plus 4 stl were very influential in this one. The junior guard can explode in any game. What’s impressive about her is she seems to be up for any challenge, competing at a high-level no matter who’s in front of her. She definitely embodies “heart over height”. Last year, Arnold garnered attention from serval scholarship level schools and whatever program gets her will be happy at the end of the day.

Don’t underestimate Arnold because of her smaller stature. Coach Streeter has brought in a tough-nosed and feisty 2-way point that’s ready to leave her imprint. Arnold can knock down 3s off the dribble or in spot-up scenarios. Her quickness is a key attribute on both sides of the ball. The hustle Taelor shows is such a positive, especially on defense. She’s a real playmaker that’ll find a way to affect a game no matter what.
