Massaponax guard Takeria Ramey is an all-around fantastic basketball player. Many aspects of her game could be celebrated, but her passing ability impresses me the most. Ramey is at her best, going downhill, finding cutters, and kicking out to open shooters. She is an outstanding athlete and uses both that and her IQ to make her an elite passer. She averages 5.4 assists a game and has an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.6.

Takeria Ramey is one of the most complete guards in the state, and she showed that this week. Against Patrick Henry, Ramey had 17 points, 8 assists, and 6 steals. She also played a big part in the Massaponax dismantling of colonial forge. Ramey is a fantastic shooter; when she decides to go downhill, she always finds teammates. She’s a pest defensively and a high-IQ basketball player.

She also proved that she can who score at all three levels against stiffer competition. Takeira played with tremendous patients and poise and single-handedly took over the game! Takeira took home the MVP with an impressive start line 20pts, 10ast, 5rebs, 4stls.!

Takeira had another productive high school season leading her team in points, assist and steals! She was runner-up district player of the year. Played up on her 17U Elevate Elite team this summer very athletic guard that can create turnovers turning defense into offense! High level player that is going to be a steal in the 2024 class!
