Nair McCoy
Nair McCoy
Nyair was one of the best point guards in the building. She shot the ball well from beyond the arc hitting multiple three pointers. She attacked the basket nicely beating her defender with the crossover dribble. I was also impressed with how she moved on defense while pressuring the ball handler.
Cameron shot the ball really well and controlled the pace and tempo of the game. She finished after contact getting to the line repeatedly while knocking down her free throws. She looks like she’s been spending a lot of time in the gym over the summer and it’s paying off.
Vanessa’s leaping ability is highly underrated but was on full display over the weekend. She has always been strong and physical at the guard position, outrebounding virtually every other player at her position. Defensively she was locking down players and had the play of the day on a close out, blocking a three point attempt of a six footer. Her shot was a thing of beauty especially from deep.
Takeira played fast and under control. She was dominant on defense turning steals into fast break opportunities. She showed good vision at the point shared the ball even though she was able to score at will.
Cayenne knocked down shot after shot after shot from the three. It seemed like when the defense finally figured out that they needed to close out on her she started attacking the basket and finishing. She can quietly fill up the stat sheet as was one of the best shooters in the gym.
