Hoffert played a ton of varsity basketball with being pulled up as an 8th-grader five years ago. She has been a Bruin for a long time and it will be odd to see a South team without her on the roster. She is a good athlete and moves well on the court. She can defend posts with her height and her strength, but is also quick enough to defend smaller guards. She has a quick burst of speed and drives to the basket with conviction. She finished her season averaging 9 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game.

Talyn is sneakily athletic. She is a strong athlete and faster than she appears on film. She gives maximum effort – she has one speed and it’s 100 miles per hour. She has had to handle the ball for South throughout her career due to a lack of a true point guard on her team. Credit to Talyn and South for battling through and showing continuous improvement with turnovers throughout her career.

Talyn has been having a very nice season for the Fargo South Bruins. She is currently averaging 12.7 points per game, 9 rebounds, 4.3 assists, 1 steal, and 1 block per game. She is also making nearly 2.5 three-pointers per game. She is relied upon heavily on both sides of the floor. She handles the ball as the primary ball-handler for her team and is asked to create scoring opportunities as well. Talyn is a good sized Forward/Guard and moves well on the floor. I anticipate her having a good shot at making the All-EDC team this season.

Talyn is a quality returning starter for the Fargo South Bruins. Last season she averaged a respectable 9.6 points per game to go along with 7.4 rebounds per game. She is an above average athlete that moves really well for her size. She is able to handle the ball, runs the floor well, and can be crafty getting to the rim. I anticipate Talyn improving her numbers and having a nice chance at being an All-EDC selection this season.
