Tankeria returns as a sophomore with Coach Thomas identifying her as a potential breakout player and difference-maker. That expectation gives her season added intrigue as she already has starting experience and now has an opportunity to expand her influence within a veteran group. For Tankeria, the challenge is turning that confidence into consistent contributions within her responsibilities. She does not need to force a larger role; she needs to make the most of the opportunities that come with playing alongside experienced teammates. Her development is an important storyline for Midfield, particularly if she can provide another dependable source of impact as opponents concentrate on the senior core.
