About TaNya

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game play style is unique, I’m 6’2 with a strong presence down low. I’m a shot blocker, layup finisher and rebounder. My speed allows me to be able to defend guards, run the court and block at the 3pt line. I can shoot mid range shots as well as 3’s, I’m a threat from any position. I believe hustle and heart is what sets me apart.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is my only competition on the court is myself. I continually work on being a better player than I was the day before. My personality: I’m a God fearing young lady, I love and live life to the fullest. I love music, drawing and shopping. My motto is God, Family and Basketball.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’ve received accolades in academics (A/B) honor roll, perfect attendance

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I’m pretty quiet but have grown to speak up more & I’m talking more on the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

I looking for colleges who is centered around family foundation. When you build a family environment on the court you will never feel like you’re playing with strangers, but sisters instead. I want a college who truly supports my academics and my goals outside of basketball. I want a college who will push me & support me to the best version of myself.
